Olympics: Twitter reacts to Steph Curry’s thrilling performance in gold medal game in France

One of the most anticipated international games on the Olympic stage lived up to expectations as Team USA battled host France in a thrilling matchup for the world to see. As the game became tight in the final minutes, Steph Curry stole the show.

In a two-possession game, Curry caught fire in the final three minutes of the contest, scoring 19 points — yes, 19 points in the final three minutes of the fourth quarter. Curry hit a pair of threes in the final minutes, including a towering jump shot over 7-foot-4 French center Victor Wembanyama.

After making some miraculous shots, Curry began the fun and celebration of Saturday’s victory in Paris against France.

Curry finished with a team-high 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting and eight 3-pointers in 30 minutes. Curry had five assists in Team USA’s 98-87 win over France in Paris.
