Priyanka Chopra, known for sharing snippets of her life on social media, recently treated fans to an exciting update. After taking a well-deserved break to celebrate husband Nick Jonas’ birthday, the actress is back to work and gearing up for her next project. She took to her social media to share that she is back on the sets of the highly anticipated drama Citadel 2, giving fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour that left them hungry for more.

Earlier, Priyanka had also shared a video from her drive to the set, captioning it, “Hello Citadel S 2.” In August, the actress teased fans with a clip in which she showed off her new honey-colored eye color, asking, “New eye color for Citadel, what do you think?” She completed the look with a beige and white striped top, subtle nude makeup, chic gold earrings, and layered necklaces. The video was captioned, “Citadel prep! Here we go…!”

Citadel is an exciting spy drama series created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh, and David Weil, with the Russo brothers serving as executive producers. The first season, premiering on April 28, 2023, stars Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden as agents Nadia Sinh and Mason Kane, and features a talented cast including Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville.

The highly anticipated second season of Citadel will see the addition of new faces to the cast, including Merle Dandridge, Rahul Kohli, Michael Trucco, Matt Berry and Gabriel Leone. Jack Reynor also joins the cast, further enriching the series.

In addition to the main Citadel storyline, several spin-offs are in the works, set in different locations around the world. Citadel: Diana, an Italian series, is set to be released on October 10, with Matilda De Angelis set to headline the cast. The six-episode spy drama, directed by Arnaldo Catinari, promises to be an exciting new chapter in the Citadel universe.

After Citadel: Diana, the Indian spin-off Citadel: Honey Bunny is slated to release on November 7. It stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles and the trailer has already created a buzz with glimpses of intense action scenes featuring both the actors.
