Former President Donald Trump joked during a rally on Long Island on Wednesday that he hopes his wife Melania will write “good things” about him in her upcoming memoir.

The 78-year-old Republican presidential candidate drew a standing ovation and laughter from the crowd at Nassau Coliseum as he promoted the former first lady’s book, which is set to be released in October.

“Go out and buy her a book,” he exclaimed. “She just wrote a book. I hope she said nice things about me.”
