Frank Turner’s Wife Shares Shocking Marriage News After Singer’s US Tour

Frank Turner’s wife Jessica Guise has announced that their marriage has ended after “things came to light” regarding the musician’s alleged actions during his US tour this summer.

Guise, who married the “Recovery” musician in 2019, said the couple decided to share a statement online to “avoid some difficult questions” in the future.

“Things have come to light about Frank’s actions during his US tour in June and since that leave me with no choice but to accept that our marriage is over,” she said, sharing a black-and-white photo of her and Turner in an embrace.

Guise noted that the events were “sudden,” “unexpected” and “caused immense pain.”

“We are both grieving what we are losing here, and while we talk about our personal worlds in our music, please understand – I know you will – that we do not want to have conversations about that on social media at this time,” she added.

She said that before “all this” happened, they enjoyed a “decade of love and joy; a quarter of our lives spent taking on the world as a team, as best friends.”

“We’re going to try to preserve all of that as much as possible,” she continued.

Guise, a singer-songwriter and psychotherapist, continued: “There will be songs, of course (brace, brace), but we hope to continue to support, love and care for each other in whatever way we can.”

“And don’t worry, the cat is coming with me, he’s not made for the tour bus,” she added.

British singer-songwriter Turner started out as the frontman of post-hardcore band Million Dead before launching a solo career in 2005. He recently released his latest album Unbeaten, in May of this year, and toured with his new material.

The musician is currently in Canada, where he is performing several concerts, then he will travel to Germany, Switzerland and other European countries, before heading to Australia and Asia at the end of 2024.

Turner and his band The Sleeping Souls began their tour at Glastonbury in June, before travelling across the UK and the rest of the world.

Earlier this year, the former couple enjoyed a holiday in Brazil, with Guise calling it “the most magical two weeks” and in October 2023, she documented their holiday in Spain, where they were “actually on holiday together”.

“I’ve been spending a few weekends together not working recently. Turns out weekends are awesome. They might just make a name for themselves,” she wrote.

At Christmas, Guise shared a series of joyful photos of the couple enjoying festive activities at home, but said it had been a “long and trying year”.
