Daniel Lubetzky Joins ‘Shark Tank’ Panel Permanently for Mark Cuban’s Final Season

A new shark enters the aquarium while another is ready to leave.

ABC announced Wednesday that Daniel Lubetzky has been promoted from a guest role to a series regular on Season 16 of “Shark Tank.”

He joins the Sharks panel alongside Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Kevin O’Leary — aka “Mr. Wonderful.”

The upcoming season will also be Cuban’s last, who said in November 2023 that he intended to leave the show after season 16, saying, “The time has come.”

In an Instagram video celebrating Lubetzky’s promotion after five seasons as the recurring Shark, the KIND Snacks founder opened up about what it meant to him.

“My mom is still alive, and I hope she’s proud,” he said. “I hope my dad looks down and sees not only what I’ve accomplished, but how I accomplished it, trying my best to always live up to the values ​​he taught me.”

Entrepreneurs set to guest star on Sharks Season 16 include Todd Graves, Jamie Kern Lima, Rashaun Williams and Kendra Scott.

“Shark Tank” Season 16 premieres Friday, October 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC and will be available on Hulu the following day.
