Sparking! ZERO Releases Lineup Reveal Trailer

Bandai Namco has released a new video promoting the upcoming DRAGON BALL: Spark! ZERO, is coming to Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 5, and PC on October 11. In this new video (watch below), game producer Jun Furutani shares details on the Episode Battle and Custom Battle modes, as well as revealing the final roster consisting of a whopping 182 characters.

The roster of 182 characters is a huge number of characters for players to choose from, in fact it is the largest number of characters ever to appear in a Budokai Tenkaichi game. Many of these characters come from the following films and series:

  • DRAGON BALL SUPER: Cabba, Cabba Super Saiyan, Cabba Super Saiyan 2, Frost, Toppo and Frieza Force Soldier Broly – Legendary Super Saiyan Movie: Broly (Z), Broly (Z) Super Saiyan, Broly (Z) Legendary Super Saiyan
  • Cooler’s Revenge and The Return of Cooler movies: Cooler, Cooler Final Form and Metal Cooler
  • Super Android 13 Video: Android 13 and Fusion Android 13
  • Dead Zone Movie: Super Garlic Jr.
  • The World’s Strongest Movie: Dr. Wheelo
  • Lord Slug Movie: Lord Slug and Lord Slug in Giant Form
  • Tree of Power movie: Turles
  • Bojack Unbound Movie: Bojack and the Full Power of Bojack
  • Dragon’s Wrath Movie: Hirudegarn and Tapion
  • Movie Fusion Reborn: Janemba, Super Janemba, Super Gogeta (Z)
  • DRAGON BALL: Goku (teen)

Details about the Episode Battle and Custom Battle modes have also been revealed. In the former, players will experience a variety of epic anime battles with eight different characters – Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Jiren, Future Trunks, Goku Black, and Frieza. In Custom Battles, players will be able to experience some of the original scenarios created by the creators and create their own dream scenario with pre- and post-battle cutscenes or specific effects and characters they want.

Be careful DRAGON BALL: Spark! ZERO coming to Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 11. Pre-orders are available for the Digital and Ultimate editions, and those who do so will receive three days of early access starting October 7 and a new playable character, Goku (Mini) from the upcoming DRAGON BALL DAIMA anime.
