Dave Grohl’s Ex-Girlfriend Heard ‘Rumors’ He Was Cheating Before Baby News

Dave Grohlwere Kari Wuhrer confessed she wasn’t surprised by his recent cheating scandal — and claimed she was his secret girlfriend in the ’90s.

Wuhrer said TMZ On Thursday, September 19, she heard “rumors” about her wife’s infidelity at the hands of 55-year-old Grohl Jordyn Blum before news broke this month that she had a child out of wedlock.

Wuhrer also claimed that when she was dating the Foo Fighters singer in the late 1990s, he was still dating the snowboarder. Tina BasichWuhrer told the outlet that she accidentally “let the cat out of the bag” about her romance with Grohl by calling The Howard Stern Show to vent her anger over Grohl allegedly yelling at her.

Basich, 55, allegedly overheard the interview, which led to her and Grohl ending their relationship. In her 2003 memoir, Pretty Good for a Girl: The Autobiography of a Snowboarding PioneerBasich claimed that Grohl was “busy” during their two-year relationship and accused him of cheating.

“I don’t know how anyone in his profession can have a normal relationship with a girl… or two, as it turns out,” she wrote in the book, revealing that Grohl told her “nothing” about his alleged affair, despite her calling him for five weeks wanting details. “I found out second-hand, through the grapevine, when it seemed like everyone else in the world knew about it except me.”

“I’ve never heard of her. He’s never talked about it,” Wuhrer said TMZ on Thursday at Basich, claiming she had no idea she was the other woman. Wuhrer added that she hasn’t spoken to Grohl since her Howard Stern appearance, but she saw him many years later in Los Angeles.

Wuhrer claimed that “he just looked at me like I didn’t exist” when they met at their children’s playground. “I just felt like after everything, I knew he was a scoundrel,” she said.

Wuhrer’s comments came just weeks after Grohl announced on Instagram that he had been unfaithful to Blum, whom he married in 2003.

“I recently became a father to a new baby girl, born out of wedlock,” Grohl wrote in a statement on Sept. 10. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything in my power to earn back their trust and earn their forgiveness.”

Grohl is now a father of four, sharing daughters Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10, with Blum, as well as a baby girl with an unnamed mystery woman.

Although Blum has not publicly addressed the scandal, she was spotted on Tuesday, September 17, without her wedding ring. According to photos obtained by Page SixBlum lost her diamond wedding ring while playing tennis with her coach and band Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz.

Before he got involved with Wuhrer — and cheated on Blum — Grohl admitted to having an affair during his first marriage.

Grohl was married to Jennifer Leigh Young Blood for three years before they split up in 1997. During an interview with The guard in 2007, it was reported that the former Nirvana guitarist “admitted to infidelities that led to his divorce from his first wife.” No other details were provided.
