Is Florence Pugh Dating Finn Cole? All About the ‘Peaky Blinders’ Star

Finn Cole attends the opening of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Golden Ratio musical at Battersea Power Station on September 14, 2023 in London, England.

There are rumors circulating that Florence Pugh might be dating Peaky Blinders star Finn Cole, especially after they were spotted together several times.

Although Pugh revealed in a September 18 interview with British Vogue that she was dating someone new, she did not name that person.

“Something I resonate with is that I believe that if magic is real, it’s falling in love,” she said. “And I’m someone who loves falling in love. I love taking care of people. I love taking care of people. I love feeling like someone is there for me. I love knowing that someone is thinking about me and someone is taking care of me in the same way that I feel about taking care of them.”

“I think in this part of my life, I’m trying to make sure that I’m making all the right decisions so that I can have what I want… which is security, family, home and a sense of security,” she continued.

Pugh was previously in a relationship with Zach Braff, who is 21 years older than her. However, after three years of dating, the couple ended their relationship in 2022.

Even though it was the end of a chapter, Pugh now has her eyes on someone new and many fans believe that lucky guy could be Cole.

Finn Cole loves to wear comfortable clothes

Cole opened up about his style in an interview with Gentleman’s Journal on September 19, and said he loves wearing clothes that make him feel comfortable.

“I love comfort. I prefer looser jeans. I wear a lot of Converse, a lot of Adidas. I love Cos because I have a big butt and big thighs, but these things fit me,” he said.

Finn Cole is a fan of Mark Rylance

In an interview with Gentleman’s Journal, Cole said he loved Mark Rylance’s acting.

“One of my favorite actors is Mark Rylance. He can sit in a box and do nothing for hours and I can’t take my eyes off him,” he said. “He has something that really captivates me. If you compared his facial expressions in two photographs, you might not notice the difference. But you pick up something from actors like that in a performance. It’s like a sixth sense.”

Finn Cole credits his teacher with helping him launch his acting career

Cole told Interview magazine in 2016 that he “first became interested” in acting while he was still in school.

“I was surrounded by people who were interested in acting,” he said. “I had a teacher I got along with, one of my favorite teachers, and he got me into it. Trying to entertain was something that always excited me. It really excited me.”

He continued: “Growing up, it was a hobby, something I always did with my friends – putting on shows. Then I joined the National Youth Theatre when I was 17, which was great because we were a group of young people like me.”

If Cole’s acting career had not succeeded, he likely would have tried his hand at water sports or even trained as a boat mechanic.

“I was always interested in water sports, water activities and engineering. I was always good at fixing things when I was growing up. I wanted to work on boats. That’s what my dad did,” he said.

Finn Cole attends the “Peaky Blinders” Season 6 World Premiere on February 24, 2022 in Birmingham, England.

Finn Cole’s older brother is Joe Cole

Joe Cole is also an actor and, like his brother, honed his craft at the National Youth Theatre in London.

Joe Cole starred alongside his brother in their hit series Peaky Blinders from 2013 to 2017. His other acting credits include Luke in Skins, Billy Moore in A Prayer Before Dawn and Frank in Black Mirror.

When asked what it’s like to have someone in his family who also works in the industry, Finn Cole told NME that he feels “very lucky” to be able to share the experience with someone else.

“We had a great time shooting ‘Peaky’ together,” he said. “I’m always asking him questions, and he’s always asking me questions. We’re really good buddies — I call him once or twice a week to catch up.”

Finn Cole plays guitar

In an interview with Gentleman’s Journal, Cole admitted that he enjoys playing guitar, and listed BB King and Muddy Waters as his favourite artists.

“I’ve been around really creative people — a lot of musicians — so I love going and watching my friends play. We go see live music together or make music together,” he said. “Or we just hang out — watch movies or go to the pub and have a drink. It’s a lot of that.”
