The film is about the journey of a group of friends in a small town in Kerala, as they navigate their adult lives with little turbulence and trials. Vaazha delves into their friendships, relationships with their parents and their search for identity and purpose. The excitement about the sequel is already palpable and Vipin Das shared the poster of the film on his Instagram handle, which features the beloved characters from the first part: Hashir, Alan, Ajin and Vinayak. These characters, especially Hashir, received immense love from the audience for their unforgettable moments in Vaazha. The film has been shot in cinematography by Aravind Pithussery and edited by Kannan Mohan.

The sequel will be directed by debutant director Suvin SA, with Vipin Das retained as producer and writer. It will be backed by the same production houses — Vipin Das, Harris Desom, PB Anish and Adarsh Narayan of Icon Cinemas.
