Ravi Mohan popularly known by his stage name as Jayam Ravi is one of the most successful Tamil actors. The actor’s debut film, Jayam was so popular that the actor acquired the movie’s name as his stage name. Apart from JayamRavi was seen in several famous movies such as M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Unakkum Enakkum, Santhosh Subramaniam, and Thani Oruvan among others. It was his masterclass acting skills in Ponniyin Selvan that won everyone’s hearts.

Jayan Ravi and Aarti Ravi’s split was due to a third person?

In the last few days, Jayam Ravi made it to the headlines, as he announced his divorce from his wife, Aarti. What was surprising is that Aarti later revealed that the decision was one-sided. Now, a report suggested the possible reason for which Jayam and Aarti might have been separated. A report by Tamil magazine, Nakheeran recently revealed that the main reason behind the split between Jayam and Aarti was possibly a third person’s involvement.

If the same report is to be followed, Jayam Ravi’s separation was caused due to his dating buzz with a Bangalore-based singer, Kenishaa Francis. While no confirmation about the same has been given as of now, the same report also suggested that back in June 2024, Kenishaa and Jayam were fined by the Goa police for an overspeeding matter, and when the same news reached Aarti, it escalated to a huge fight. It was also added that Jayam skipped his 14th wedding anniversary with his family and his wife while he, at the same time, purchased a bungalow with the singer, Kenishaa.

Earlier, a report had mentioned that Aarti Ravi’s mom, Sujatha, and brother, Shankar were the reason of the couple’s separation. If the reports are to be believed, Sujatha and Shankar had a huge fight with Jayam Ravi during a film’s shoot. It was also said that Sujatha even asked the filmmakers to reduce Jayam’s fee from Rs. 25 crore, stating that his fame has been fading away.

Aarti Ravi expressed her sadness over the one-sided divorce announcement

Soon after Jayam Ravi announced his divorce, his ex-wife, Aarti released a statement and shared some shocking claims. In her statement, Aarti revealed that the decision to be separated was made without her consent, and it was not a mutual split. She also added that she had asked on several occasions to talk to Jayam on the same matter, which has not been provided, leaving her and her children completely blindsided by this announcement.

For the unversed, it was on September 9, 2024, when Jayam took to his social media handle and announced his separation. The actor revealed his decision to end his 15-year marriage out of some personal reasons. He also asked for privacy and added that the decision was not made in haste.
