Galaxy S25 Series Charging Speeds Revealed

Galaxy S25 Series Charging Speeds Revealed

Samsung isn’t planning to reveal its latest S-series flagship until January 2025. However, it hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from revealing details about the upcoming Galaxy S25, S25, and S25 Ultra smartphones. We already know a handful of details about the next-generation Galaxy flagships. Now, Chinese regulator 3C has revealed the charging speeds of the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ models.

Interestingly, the charging speeds of the Galaxy S25 Ultra variant have been leaked before. This information was also revealed via the phone’s 3C certification.

Galaxy S25 and S25+ will retain the charging speeds of their predecessors

The Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ have been certified by China Compulsory Certification (3C). Both phones have received a pass certificate from the regulatory body. According to the 3C list, SM-S9310 The model, which is likely to be the base Galaxy S25, has a charging speed of 25W. The device with SM-S9360 (probably Galaxy S25+) is 45W.

It looks like Samsung won’t be increasing the charging speeds of the Galaxy S25 series next year. Interestingly, both the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will retain the charging speeds of their predecessors. For those unaware, the Galaxy S24 also offers 25W fast charging, while the S24+ offers the same 45W charging as its upcoming successor.

As for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, it will continue to offer 45W fast charging like its predecessors. Like the S24 series, the Galaxy S25 series phones will also not come with a charging adapter in the box, according to 3C certifications.

Galaxy S25 series battery capacities leaked

It’s worth noting that the battery capacities of the entire Galaxy S25 line have already been revealed. Reliable gadget tipster Ice Universe claims that the Galaxy S25 will still offer a 4,000mAh battery. The leaker suggests that the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra will offer 4,900mAh and 5,000mAh batteries, respectively. So they’re unchanged from their predecessors.

It seems that Samsung has little information left to reveal. Perhaps there will be some surprises at the official launch in early 2025, time will tell.
