Ross McCall, 49, gives an update on Pat Sajak’s daughter’s affair, 29

“It’s early,” McCall said. Jenny Mollen her new romance when he appeared on her podcast “All the Fails” last month. While Band of Brothers The graduate did not provide a name, only said that there was a “girl” in the photo.

“When a girl comes over, she knows she’s definitely on the floor,” McCall said, referring to his dog. Mollen, 45, joked: “So she’s been on the floor a lot lately.”

In April Us Weekly obtained photos of Sajak, 29, kissing McCall, 49, during a trip to Los Angeles. The photos show the pair looking loved up while walking their dog. At one point, they even kissed.

While McCall claims he prefers to keep his relationships private, he wasn’t shy about “liking” Sajak’s recent Instagram posts.

During Mollen’s podcast episode, McCall also spoke candidly about his two failed engagements. Although they didn’t discuss his exes — actresses Jennifer Love Hewitt AND Alessandra Mastronardi — the actor spoke honestly about what he’s looking for in a romantic partner and what went wrong in his previous romances.

“I’m pretty private for a public figure,” he said. “Listen, things aren’t working out. I don’t have any bad feelings. I mean, I’ve been devastated both times. I believe in partnership, and I can’t handle loss.”

McCall continued: “I felt like I lost something. I don’t feel like I lost in a competitive way.”

He and Hewitt began dating in 2005 and became engaged in 2007. The actors ended their relationship in December 2008 before they tied the knot.

“I think I had a reputation as a player, which wasn’t necessarily true,” McCall told Mollen, referring to the period after his split from Hewitt. (Hewitt married Brian Hallisay (in 2013.)

McCall’s second high-profile engagement was to Italian star Mastronardi. The former couple went public in 2019, and news of their engagement came to light in 2021. It is not known when they split, but Mastronardi did get married Gianpaolo Sannino in 2023.

“Partnership is a big deal to me,” McCall told Mollen. “We’re a little older now, right? And yeah, there are certain things that we’ve learned, we’ve gone through relationships. I feel like if I had the mentality that I have now, that I had then, I wouldn’t have the problems that you have — ego, pride, all that crap. I’m probably, yeah, I’m a hopeless romantic.”
