Irina Shayk has officially landed in Milan for Fashion Week, and while she parades down Italian runways during the day, she also manages to attend some glamorous evening events. The model appeared on Vogue ItalyOn September 18, she celebrated her 60th anniversary wearing the most romantic, transparent nightgown designed by Alberta Ferretti.

The exact same dress debuted on the runway just the day before. How’s that for fast fashion? Although Shayk didn’t walk in Ferretti’s show this season, that didn’t stop her from being the first person to wear a sheer dress in real life.

Shayk joined countless other It girls in sheer ensembles, one of the biggest trends in eveningwear right now (hello, Florence Pugh, Olivia Wilde, and Dakota Johnson). And the model pulled off her version with ease. Shayk’s nightgown — or Look #42, as it was known backstage — hit the spring/summer 2025 runway on September 17.

The dress featured delicate lace detailing along the neckline and a flowing, pleated skirt. The whole thing was essentially sheer, so Shayk wore black panties underneath to keep it from revealing too much.

She also shared a photo carousel on her Instagram that read, “Milano so far.” In it, she shared a few BTS shots from the past few days, including a close-up of her hair and makeup on Vogue Italy event. Shayk opted for a clean and radiant face with minimal eye makeup. The main focal point here was a stunning shade of burnt brown lipstick.

Just hours later, Shayk returned to the Max Mara runway in a completely different look.

She showed up at the show wearing a black halter-neck blouse tucked into a long white skirt with a large slit in the middle.

Her hair was perfectly slicked back, and her makeup was barely there. But that’s the magic of a model like Shayk, right? She can transform in the blink of an eye.
