BM Security announces recruitment for security and other positions

A Kenyan security company has announced mass recruitment for security officers and other positions.

When will the recruitment campaign at BM Security take place?

BM Security posted the vacancy on its website, noting that selected candidates must complete a three-week training course.

Recruitment takes place from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 8:30 am at the BM Headquarters in Nairobi, Jamhuri Road, off Ngong Road, en route to the Nairobi International Show Ground.

“We are urgently looking for a large number of security officers and women who are Kenyan nationals with high integrity, high motivation, results oriented and willing to join our security section. Their deployment will be early October 2024.

Recruitment will also take place at BM offices in Mombasa, Kisumu, Kisii, Eldoret, Nakuru and Nyeri, the advertisement said.

What are the requirements for security positions?

• Fourth grade graduates (with at least a KCSE certificate).
• Men should be between 26 and 40 years old and women between 25 and 35 years old.
• The height requirement for men is 5 feet 5 inches and for women 5 feet 3 inches.
• Candidates must have a certificate of no criminal record.
• Candidates must be fluent in spoken and written Swahili and English.

The security company also announced recruitment for alarm/project technician and marketing officer positions.

What vacancies has CA announced?

In related news, the Kenya Communications Authority (California) has announced that internships will be available from October 2024.

CA invited qualified and interested candidates to submit applications by October 2.

The authorities said the opportunity would be available for a period of three months, encouraging those interested in studying to apply.

Elsewhere, Safaricom has announced recruitment for experienced positions including an M-Pesa API engineer, a database administrator and a senior cyber defence centre analyst.

NCBA Bank has also announced job openings for positions such as Data Engineer, Digital Acquisition Manager and Network Administrator. Application deadlines are September 2024.

Recruitment will last from September to October 2024.
