Prince Harry ‘furious’ after statement that brought Meghan Markle to tears

There doesn’t seem to be any improvement in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s complicated relationship with their royal family anytime soon.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were reportedly moved to tears by Buckingham Palace’s statement, which reportedly drove a wedge between Meghan and Harry and the Prince of Wales.

King Charles’ two sons are locked in a bitter feud as they enjoy separate lives on opposite sides of the Atlantic. The breaking point between the royal brothers came after Meghan’s marriage into the royal family.

Prince Archie and Lilibet’s parents criticize William in the Harry and Meghan documentary series and recall the flashpoint that the prince says left him furious and broke his wife’s heart.

This happened when the king’s estranged son said he had not consented to the issuance of a joint palace statement rejecting accusations of intimidation, which led to a rift between the two men.

Harry said: “The saddest thing about all this is that a wedge has been created between me and my brother, which has now led to him being on the side of the institution.

“And I understand, I understand some of that. I understand, right? It’s his legacy, so it’s ingrained in him to some extent that part of his responsibility is the survival and continuation of this institution. That was the day the story came out that part of the reason Meghan and I were leaving was because William had bullied us.”

He continued: “When I got into the car after the meeting, I was told about a joint statement that had been issued on my behalf and on behalf of my brother, putting an end to the story that he had intimidated us and forced us out of the family.

“I couldn’t believe it. No one asked me to sign a statement like that. I called M and told her and she burst into tears because in four hours they were willing to lie to protect my brother, and yet for three years they never wanted to tell the truth to protect us.”
