The beginning after the end is one of the most engaging webcomics out there, known for its incredibly well-written plot that nonetheless covers fairly generic topics like powerful magicians, mythical creatures, and divine beings. But don’t let the sound of those names fool you, because it really does have some of the best worldbuilding compared to some of the best anime.

The story follows Arthur Leywin, a complex character with an extremely interesting past. TBATE follows Arthur’s path to redemption as he strives for a fulfilling life free from the turbulence of his past. However, all is not well, as Arthur’s journey is hamstrung by problems and momentary setbacks, and it is these particular obstacles that make this series such a fun read.

Spanning over 100 chapters, this epic webcomic boasts a rich, multi-layered narrative, and now that reports have surfaced that Studio Madhouse is working on an anime adaptation, the future looks bright for manhwa adaptations.
