INEC Announces Edo Gubernatorial Election Results Summary Time

Dr. Anugbum Onuoha, INEC Permanent Electoral Commissioner, has announced that the collation of Edo governorship election results will begin at 10:00 a.m.

He said: “We hereby inform the general public, political stakeholders and observers that the collation of results of the ongoing Edo State governorship election will resume today (Sunday) September 22, 2024 at 10:00 am.”

“The Collation process is being conducted in a transparent manner and in accordance with applicable laws and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines. We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the parties as we strive to ensure a credible and accurate outcome of this important election.

“We call on all stakeholders to maintain peace and order as we conclude the collation process. INEC remains committed to ensuring free, fair and transparent elections in Edo State”
