What could be better than a drama that perfectly combines office romance, marriage contract, first love, sparkling chemistry, and beautiful leads? She accepts a new chance to start over at Marketing Team 1 and starts going on blind dates in hopes of finding her future husband.

When the opportunity comes, she accepts an offer from her old high school friend to start a new relationship and puts her all into making it work, showing that she knows what she wants and what she has to do to get it. Throughout the drama, Tu Xiao Ning has a very smart and hardworking attitude when it comes to both work and family, not even letting her ex-boyfriend or petty coworkers get in her way. Her bright personality, beauty, and warm heart make not only the male lead irreversibly fall in love with her, but also the viewers. Not many female leads in C-drama can win your heart and make you root for her happiness as Tu Xiao Ning does.

2. Almost too perfect to be true, the main character

If the female lead in this C drama is the ultimate example of diligence and perseverance, then the male lead is the picture of perfection in itself. Ji Yu Heng is a handsome, intelligent and successful bank employee who can achieve anything he sets his mind to, whether it be in his career or his love life. A leading man like this can often be a bit too much to handle, but he shows that he is human. He has flaws and can be clumsy when it comes to matters of the heart. But Ji Yu Heng’s best feature is not his ravishing looks or his brilliant mind, but his pure and tender heart that has loved Tu Xiao Ning his entire life.

Right at the beginning of the drama, we learn that he has been in love with her since high school. So when he finds out that she broke up with her boyfriend, he doesn’t hesitate to return to his homeland and win her over, not missing out on this new chance to be with the one person who charmed his heart. Ji Yu Heng is the ultimate example of a green flag: devoted and respectful to his beloved’s needs, caring for his family, and hardworking to the core. If there’s one thing that will make you swoon while watching this drama, it’s definitely its main character.

3. Cute and Unique Supporting Couples

Sometimes in C dramas, when the main couple is so perfect, the supporting cast lacks the charm to make you fall in love with them. In Ji Yu Heng’s case, he may not be as outgoing and outgoing as Xiao Ning, but he appreciates and shows that he can be a loyal friend if given the chance. He and Zhao Fang Gang may have a rocky start, but Yu Heng quickly gains his respect, and the two end up as a dynamic duo. So much so that they may even compete with their partners for important clients in the banking industry. And, although out of nowhere, Yu Heng also becomes a guide and strong support for Qui Yu, who never hesitates to turn to him for advice, showing how men can develop healthy friendships.

While it doesn’t start out as a passionate and all-consuming love, it warms your heart as they gradually open up to each other until they completely fall in love. Even though Ji Yu Heng has been in love with Tu Xiao Ning for over a decade, he doesn’t force his feelings on her. Instead, he patiently waits for her to develop feelings on her own. Throughout the drama, you can enjoy the perfect mix of office romance and friendship themes that will keep you watching every episode. While it may seem like a slow-paced story to some, the pacing is perfectly suited to both characters and the situation they live in.

Their story is so adorable, not only because of the little family they create with their in-laws, but because they truly show how a mature, honest, and thoughtful relationship can bring so much growth to their lives.
