Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has a special bond with his siblings — older brother Chase and younger sister Olivia.

The first time Chase got behind the wheel after getting his license was to take Trevor to the hospital to see their little sister. Family members also said the NFL star is proud of Chase and protective of Olivia.

Trevor’s mother, Amanda, once worried that the nearly five-year age difference between her sons would strain their relationship. But along the way, the free-spirited artist and the talented athlete realized they were more alike than they thought.

“The main difference is just the calling,” Chase told ESPN in 2021. “Other than that, we’re very similar — same sense of humor, same silliness, same personality. He’s also quite creative, even artistic, and we’re both problem solvers and we’re both seekers.”

Their mother describes them as “closer than ever” now.

Trevor and Olivia were present when Chase graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2017. The siblings also showed up to cheer on Trevor when his Clemson Tigers defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2019 national championship game.

Amanda and Jeremy Lawrence were successful high school athletes, so it’s no wonder they wanted their children to play sports. Trevor drew attention early on for his football skills. Amanda and Jeremy also signed Chase up for T-ball and basketball, but the competition clashed with his easygoing personality.

“I was a wild kid; Trevor was the one who was always good at sports,” Chase said. Athletic in 2021. “We knew he was going to get a full scholarship somewhere for something since he was in high school. My whole family loves sports so much, but at the time I couldn’t care less.”

Chase met his wife, Brooke, while studying art at Kennesaw State University in Georgia.

The couple eloped in 2020 with only their closest family and Trevor as their brother’s witness. Later in 2021, they held a larger ceremony in the same lakeside garden where the original wedding took place.

The pair are not just life partners, but also professional collaborators. According to Chase, the two artists work as a single unit, trading positions on the canvas, and have developed an aesthetic that draws inspiration from Dutch Renaissance painters.

Trevor and Chase are best friends, so the American football star didn’t put up much resistance when his brother asked him to pose for one of his works of art.

Chase and Brooke were commissioned to create a series of life-size oil paintings and had planned a dark, religious theme. Trevor wore a monk’s robes and posed with a skull on what would become “Golgotha (Skull Hill)”.

The trio joined forces for another project when Trevor announced a deal with trading card company Topps to create a 50-card boxed set. The 20 cards produced by Chase and Brooke drew inspiration from graphic novels, comics, and the 1960s and 1970s.

“Chase and Brooke are incredibly talented artists, and it’s been so special to collaborate with them on these unique projects,” Trevor said in the announcement, according to ABC News.

Trevor and his wife Marissa met as children but started dating in middle school.

The lovebirds tied the knot in April 2021 in Bluffton, South Carolina. Chase was honored to be Trevor’s best man and delivered what attendees described as a “sweet and profound” speech.

Three years after their wedding, Chase and Olivia have even more reason to celebrate — their newfound status as uncle and aunt. Trevor and Marissa announced in June 2024 that they were expecting a child, and the following month, they announced that the newest addition to the Lawrence family was a little girl.

Olivia is a volleyball player

Chase may not have the family passion for sports, but Olivia is carrying on the Lawrence athletic tradition. The teenager attends high school in Georgia and is a member of a junior volleyball program led by a team of star coaches.

Trevor’s siblings are often present at his most important moments.

Olivia joined her parents as the Jacksonville Jaguars made history by playing back-to-back games in London in 2023. Olivia also attended the Heisman Trophy ceremony with Chase in January 2021.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was held remotely in the Clemson football conference room. Trevor finished second to Alabama’s DeVonta Smith, but the Lawrence family still made headlines on social media thanks to Chase’s attire.

He wore a brown suit, a tight dark green floral shirt, and a couple of necklaces. He styled his hair in a man bun and wore a cream flower clip on the left collar of his jacket. The stylish ensemble sparked a lot of gossip on X (formerly Twitter).

“I was like, ‘Yeah, I just got dressed,’” Chase said. Athletic in 2021 when asked about the unexpected remark.

Due to his position as an NFL quarterback, Trevor has had to face a lot of criticism.

He caused quite a stir among pundits and fans ahead of the 2021 draft when he said Illustrated Sports that there’s more to life than football. While many questioned the sports star’s motivations, his brother spoke about the importance of developing a thick skin and ignoring the critics.

“We just don’t care what other people think,” Chase told ESPN in 2021. “I’ve just never cared about that stuff. I’m not going to sacrifice my happiness and all the great things I can do in life because I’m worried about what someone else thinks.”
