Luca Bish was taken to hospital with a leg injury.

The 25-year-old reality star took to social media on Sunday to share a cryptic yet dramatic update with her fans and followers.

The former Love Island contestant did not provide details about what happened to him, but shared several photos from the hospital.

In the first photo, Luca smiles and gives both thumbs up while sitting on his bed, his left leg completely wrapped in a plaster cast.

It appears that this is Luka’s second injury, after he shared a photo of himself on crutches just two months ago.

In the caption of his post, Luca referred to Ed Sheeran’s song Thinking Out Loud and took lyrics from it.

He said, “When your legs don’t work like they used to.”

The TV star was greeted with messages of support from her former co-stars on the ITV2 dating show.

Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate and Love Island 2022 winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu wrote: “Get well soon bro, you still look fresh!”

And Jacques O’Neill, who reached week six of Love Island two years ago, said: “I’ve got you bro, I’ll be back in better shape.”

Former Islanders player Dami Hope said: “I’ll be back to my best soon, my boy.”

Luca rose to fame after appearing in the eighth series of Love Island, where he finished runner-up alongside Gemma Owen, the 21-year-old daughter of former footballer Michael Owen.

However, the couple split in November 2022, just three months after the series ended.

In the second photo, Luca showed a close-up of his injuries as he appeared to be being wheeled out of the ward.

However, the couple split in November 2022, just three months after the series ended.

At the time, Gemma confirmed their split in a statement shared on Instagram, saying it “wasn’t an easy decision.”

She wrote: “To all my followers, I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship. This was not an easy decision, but it is ultimately the best thing for both of us at this time.

‘Many of you have been on this journey with us from the very beginning and I want to thank you for your continued support as we begin new chapters. Always with love, Gem x.’

Luca also shared his own statement confirming the split, writing: “I would have liked some time to think about this privately but as you all unfortunately know, Gemma and I have today made the mutual decision to separate.”
