Four takeaways from the Dallas Cowboys’ Week 3 loss to the Ravens

Four takeaways from the Dallas Cowboys’ Week 3 loss to the Ravens

The Dallas Cowboys’ late comeback attempt backfired and the team lost to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3 28-25.

The Cowboys refused to give up, but the loss ultimately proved too much for Dallas.

Here are four lessons to learn from a devastating defeat.

The Cowboys front office let Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb know they have the franchise, as the duo just got huge raises. But for three quarters Sunday, the franchise pillars looked lost in every way.

Yes, the Cowboys had a chance late, but chasing the score is never a recipe for victory.

A lot went wrong on Sunday, but there’s something to celebrate about the Cowboys’ biggest weapon. Dallas kicker Brandon Aubrey continued to show off his cleats, scoring a 65-yard field goal in the first quarter.

If the team had a chance to tie the score with a field goal at the end of the game, it’s fair to say Aubrey would have taken on the challenge.

I think Derrick Henry delivered his message to anyone in Dallas who might have thought he had nothing left in the tank. Henry led all rushers with 25 carries and 151 yards on the day.

The Ravens running back also found the end zone twice on the ground and once through the air. Henry’s performance was another reminder of what could have been in Dallas.

With the Ravens running all over the field, the Cowboys defensive players were unable to get off the line of scrimmage.

The Cowboys finished the game with 51 rushing yards, proving once again that Dallas was not and will not be the answer to the running attack.
