My Happy Marriage Season 2 has a January 2025 release window

My Happy Marriage was one of the most critically acclaimed anime when it came out, and not just in the romance genre. When it first came out, it dethroned the Bleach anime from the top spot on MyAnimeList. My Happy Marriage debuted on Netflix in July 2023 and aired until September 2023. With its beautiful setting, amazing cast, and excellent character designs, the anime gained massive acclaim from audiences around the world. Now, finally, My Happy Marriage Season 2, which was greenlit ahead of the first season finale, has received a stunning first trailer and release window.

As Netflix confirmed, The second season of the anime My Happy Marriage will be released in January 2025and the first video teased several new entries. We also meet Kiyoka Kudou’s parents for the first time. Unfortunately, his mother doesn’t seem to like Miyo and treats her the way her stepmother did before. However, this time, Miyo has Kiyoka by her side, so we can expect the duo to fight for their love.

My Happy Marriage is set in a world where only those with magic are respected, and our heroine is seen as someone who wasn’t born with any mystical powers. As such, she is usually physically abused by her stepmother and sister.

In fact, her biological father does not support her either and he treats her like a servant, not a daughter. Miyo’s father arranges her marriage to Kiyoka Kudou, who is said to be a man incapable of keeping commitments. However, when Miyo begins living at the Kudou residence, she realizes that he is a man with a heart of gold, and not who people thought he was.

Since its debut episode, My Happy Marriage has become a fan favorite that has always introduced completely new elements with every new episode every week. It has become a trend on X whenever new episodes are released. Miyo Saimori and Kiyoka Kudou have become one of the most adorable anime couples in history due to the beautiful chemistry between them.

We witnessed Miyo and Kiyoka struggle a lot in Season 1, and the first official trailer for the new season doesn’t seem to be any better. But as long as the duo sticks together, we hope to see them go head-to-head with anyone who wants to see them suffer and still come out on top.
