PaintBox Labs Joins B-Mod Nationals at Brownstown Bullring to Bring Lights, Cameras and Action to Horse Racing Fans

Speedway racing goes high-tech with ThinkDiffusion’s generative, AI-designed race car wraps

NEW YORK, NEW YORK / ACCESSWIRE / September 23, 2024 / PaintBox Labs, a minority-owned digital media production company and partner of ThinkDiffusion, a creative platform and AI studio set to launch in 2023, announced today that it will team up with the B-Mod Nationals at the Brownstown Bullring in Illinois to film a horse racing event as part of a sports media platform and film project that will showcase how it integrates AI technology to tell the stories of determined individuals who, against all odds, rise to become champions.

The B-Mod Nationals is one of the largest dirt track races in the world, attracting over 150 competitors, seven of whom will have their vehicles wrapped in designs created by the ThinkDiffusion design team using their proprietary generative AI tool. This ongoing collaboration with Josh Carroll, the event promoter, will be featured in an episode of a new documentary series produced by PaintBox Labs called, “Finding the Weaker”. Said Chris Surrey, founder of PaintBox Labs and executive producer of the series, “I think it’s safe to say we’re the first to use generative AI technology to design race car wraps.” The creative studio has, however, used its technology to create TV commercials, films and even fashion shows, which were created in collaboration with renowned designers and students from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).

Episode #2 of the documentary series Finding The Underdog features track pioneers, promoters, dirt racing families, business owners and dedicated fans from the St. Louis and Illinois track communities. It features Dean Patrick Racing Company and the various racing teams that compete against the best clay and dirt racing drivers from across the United States.

The B-Mod Nationals will begin on Thursday, September 26, and culminate with races on Friday and Saturday, September 27 and 28 in Brownstown, IL. A media event will be held on the Brownstown Bullring straight on Saturday, September 28 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. CST.
