Janitor accused in Badlapur sexual assault case killed in encounter, says police

A 23-year-old janitor, suspected in a child sexual abuse incident in Badlapur, was killed during a police encounter on Mumbra bypass in Thane district, police officials said. The accused fired total three rounds and a police officer sustained an injury in the incident.
