Sean Diddy Combs is not receiving any special treatment at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MCD) in Brooklyn as he will soon stand trial for human trafficking, transportation of women for the purpose of prostitution, and extortion.

A People magazine source revealed that Combs he has no housing privileges; instead, he must undergo the same treatment as other detainees of his type. Combs was taken to MCD on Tuesday, September 17 after appearing in court and pleading not guilty, but was denied bond twice. He was recently placed on suicide watch as a protocol.

A source told the outlet: “(Diddy) is being treated like any other detainee awaiting trial. Like all public figures in his position, he was placed on suicide watch after being admitted to the facility as a precaution.”

His lawyers, Marc Agnifilo and Teny R. Geragos, presented a bail plan to two Manhattan judges, insisting that the Brooklyn center was “not suitable for pretrial detention.” But those motions were denied.

In March, a federal raid was carried out on Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles, exposing his organized “oddities,” which allegedly included sexual abuse and coercion. Multiple lawsuits have been filed against P. Diddy, including one last November in which his ex-girlfriend, model Cassie, accused him of rape. The case was settled, with Combs denying all allegations. Kim PorterSean Diddy Combs’ deceased ex-partner also accused him of abuse in her unpublished memoir. The 40-page manuscript, as reported by RadarOnline.com, detailed Diddy’s aggressive attitude that gave in to jealousy, causing physical and mental damage to Porter.

The source added that the 54-year-old rapper is very concerned about the health of his children. He has seven children with four different partners, namely Christian, Quincy, Justin, Chance, Jessie, D’Lila and Love. Despite these allegations, Combs was able to briefly speak to his family over the phone in the presence of the children, according to the aforementioned outlet’s source.

The source also stressed that “(Sean Diddy Combs) is committed to fighting this case and has full confidence in both his legal team and the truth.” He is scheduled to appear in court on September 24, 2024.
