The development comes after FG and the union signed a Memorandum of Understanding on a new minimum wage of N70,000.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that the Nigeria Labour Congress expressed regret over the adoption of the N70,000 minimum wage.

At a recent event in Lagos State, Joe Ajaero lamented that the N70,000 salary had become useless in the face of soaring petrol prices and continuing economic hardship.

The NLC president also lamented that Tinubu had betrayed the unions by increasing fuel prices immediately after signing the new minimum wage bill into law.
