Horror Weekend at the Stanley Hotel features Blumhouse-inspired scares

Just in time for Halloween, the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park will host a horror-themed weekend featuring interactive events and screenings of the new series from Peacock and Blumhouse Productions.

Blumhouse, the company behind terrifying films like “Get Out,” “Sinister” and “M3GAN,” is turning the historic hotel into an immersive experience, according to a statement. “Overnightmare,” as it’s called, will run Oct. 18-20.

Tickets are $1,031 each and can be purchased at stanleylive.com/peacock-blumhouse-overnightmare . They include a two-night stay in a double room at The Lodge, a themed event of your choice, one dinner, a $100 breakfast/lunch credit, two drinks, two nights of shows, and “interactive moments and photo ops.”

The screenings are in support of Peacock’s upcoming original thriller “Teacup,” starring James Wan’s Atomic Monster. The screening premieres one week prior to the Stanley event (October 10).

“The thrilling experience begins at check-in, where guests will be greeted with a brief, terrifying introduction, and continues throughout the weekend with character encounters and scares in a variety of locations,” Blumhouse said in a statement.

These include the Teacup Room, “a spooky lounge that will transport guests into the world of James Wan’s new action series, Atomic Monster… and the Blumhouse Bar, a haven for horror fans where they can drink beer and get scared, and play the company’s upcoming video game, Fear the Spotlight.”
