For her latest appearance, Bhumi Pednekar chose a haute couture ensemble from Georges Hobeika’s Spring 2024 collection. The actress wore a turtleneck, a long-sleeved green top, and a black printed belt. But it was her skirt that truly stole the show.

A renovated carpet becomes a fashionable statement

What seemed like a classic wrap skirt had an intriguing backstory. Bhumi revealed on social media that the skirt was repurposed from a carpet. She commented, “What I love about this piece tonight is that the skirt was repurposed from a carpet.” This choice not only underlines her fashion-forward attitude but also aligns with her commitment to sustainable fashion.

Minimalist accessories and effective makeup

To complement her unique skirt, Bhumi opted for green heels and kept her accessories to a minimum. Her makeup was impeccably styled with a glossy base, winged eyeliner, blushed cheeks and pink lips. Her hair was left loose, adding to her elegant look.

Apart from her fashion choices, Bhumi recently came into the limelight by reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment. PinkVilla recently reported that Pulkit will once again take over as the director, while Bhumi Pednekar will return as the lead role after BhakshakHowever, neither the director nor the actor confirmed these speculations.

On the other hand, Bhumi is all set to make her debut in Netflix’s The Royals. It is said to be a contemporary Indian comedy series on the royal family. Directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, the project will also mark veteran actress Zeenat Aman’s debut on Netflix.
