The Masked Singer Announces Maya Jama to Replace Rita Ora in 2025

As usual, the jury will be tasked with playing detective, guessing which famous faces are hiding behind a series of elaborate costumes. The stars will take to the stage, sing musical numbers and give cryptic clues to their identities.

Meanwhile, Joel Dommett will return to host the series once again for what will be the sixth season of the popular show.

“I’m a huge Masked Singer fan, so joining the panel with Davina, Jonathan, and Mo — and of course working with Joel — is going to be so much fun!” Jama said.

“I can’t wait to find out who’s behind all the amazing costumes, get a feel for their performances, and get a front row seat to the unmaskings. I’ve been watching this show for a long time, so I’m definitely going to put my best foot forward!”

Katie Rawcliffe, head of daytime entertainment and commissioning at ITV, described Jama as “sensational” and said she “can’t wait” to see her in action on the panel.

Producers Daniel Nettleton and Derek McLean of Bandicoot TV said: “When we decided to add something sensational to the panel, we knew we had to look no further than Maya.

“She may be a style icon and a cover girl, but when it comes to music, she’s a total nerd, which could help her solve mysteries as our newest celebrity detective. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the Masked Singer family.”
