The eagerly anticipated production has introduced musical fans to its supercalifragilisticexpialidocious company for its upcoming tour of UK and Ireland.

Mary Poppins runs at The Bristol Hippodrome from Monday 4 until Saturday 30 November 2024.

As revealed previously, acclaimed Australian stars Stefanie Jones and Jack Chambers will be reprising their roles as Mary Poppins and Bert for Cameron Mackintosh (Cats, Les Misérables, Oliver!) and Disney’s spectacular production of the classic multi-award-winning musical.


Based on the stories from PL Travers and the iconic Walt Disney family film, the story of the World’s favorite nanny arriving on Cherry Tree Lane is more magical than ever before, filled with dazzling choreography, wonderful effects and unforgettable songs.

Playing the Banks family will be Michael D. Xavier (Into the Woods) will join as George Banks, Lucie-Mae Sumner (Mary Poppins, West End; Barnum, Menier Chocolate Factory) as Winifred Banks, Rosemary Ashe (The Phantom of the Opera) ; Mary Poppins; The Witches of Eastwick, West End) as Mrs Brill.

Other cast members are Patti Boulaye (Carmen Jones, Old Vic) as Bird Woman, Wendy Ferguson (Mary Poppins; Les Misérables; The Phantom of the Opera, West End) as Miss Andrew, Sonia Swaby (Oliver!; Cats) as Mrs Corry & Miss Smythe, Ruairidh McDonald (Matilda) as Roberston Ay & David Burrows (Half a Sixpence; My Fair Lady; Oliver!) as Admiral Boom & Bank Chairman.

Completing the main cast is Olivia Ainsworth, Olaya Martinez Cambon, Matilda O’Sullivan, Katie Ryden and Florence Amelia Swann alternating Jane Banks with Charlie Donald, Jude Martin-Thomas, Oscar McCulloch, Joshua Miles and William Stafford alternating Michael Banks.

This legendary musical’s timeless score includes classic tracks by Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman. Expect such favorites as Jolly Holiday, Step in Time, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and Feed the Birds with additional music and lyrics from the Olivier award-winning duo George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.
