Wednesday Season 2 is fast approaching, and stars Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers have given fans a taste of what they can expect from their characters in this chapter.

Ortega and Myers shared a video of them rocking their Nevermore uniforms as Wednesday Addams and her energetic, upbeat roommate, werewolf Enid Sinclair, respectively.

The clip references a slightly uncanny feature that viewers identified in the first season. It seems like Ortega has really perfected Wednesday’s withering glare while preparing the character, as she’s able to go a long time without batting an eyelid.

In the video, Myers, who has a new hair color as Enid, asks viewers to “watch (her) best friend.” It then comes out and shows Ortega sitting on the stairs and staring directly at the camera for what seems like an incredibly long time.

Fans were impressed with Ortega’s party trick, with one person writing, “We need to talk about how long Jenna can keep her eyes open.”

“And the award for the best not blinking goes to…” – read another comment.

“She was staring into my soul but overall she was acting really well,” someone else wrote, also praising Enid’s blue and pink highlights.

And it looks like one of the Wednesday stars tried to beat Ortega at her own game. Victor Dorobantu, who plays Wednesday’s loyal companion Thing, commented, “I swear I didn’t blink,” adding a crying and smiling emoji.

The second installment of Tim Burton’s Netflix series gave fans a sneak peek from the set earlier this month.

The clip posted by the streamer includes a shot of Ortega wielding a knife and declaring, “Let’s play with dolls,” while Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays her mother Morticia, teases that this season will be “bigger” and “more twisted.” .

It looks like the second season is definitely bigger in terms of cast and more names are joining in on the macabre fun.
