Earlier this year, Alejandro ended his collaborations with Sky Rompiendo on “Espectacular”, Alvaro Diaz on “BYAK” and Shakira on Las Mujeres No Lloran“Cohete.”

In July, in an interview with Today.com, the musician announced the upcoming album, but did not provide a release date. “It’s not ready yet, but hopefully soon,” he said at the time. “These songs (are) too good to be put in the studio.”

He continued: “Nowadays, people want music every Friday. I think every artist should take their time and just enjoy whatever they’re doing right now…it takes time to get to the next level.”

Alejandro will take the stage in New York’s Central Park at the Global Citizen Festival 2024 this weekend, September 28, alongside Post Malone, Doja Cat, Lisa and Jelly Roll. Benson Boone and Raye will also appear.
