Stree 2 is now available to stream on OTT: where to watch?

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s blockbuster horror film Stree 2 is now available on OTT. After an excellent six weeks of ticket sales, the film not only delighted audiences with its outstanding performances, but also broke several records. Fans who were eagerly waiting for the film to release on OTT can now watch it on Amazon Prime Video. However, there is a catch! Stree 2 is currently available for rent for just Rs 349. Once rented on the platform, viewers will have a total of 30 days to start watching the film and 48 hours to finish it once they hit playback.

However, those who are waiting to stream the movie without a rental fee will have to wait a few more days as the movie will soon be available for free. The prequel to the 2018 film can be watched on Disney+Hotstar. Talking about the success of the film, Shraddha Kapoor opened up to Femina, “For me, success is not defined by conventional measures. Right now, as I talk to you, it’s about enjoying a delicious meal, cherishing moments spent with family, and cultivating meaningful relationships. For me, true success means having loved ones, enjoying a good night’s sleep, growing at work, having balance in life and having peace of mind.” She even thanked her father and aunt for inspiring her and teaching her not to take things for granted.

Stree 2 BO collections

After its successful run at the Stree 2 theater, it entered the prestigious Rs 600-crore club, collecting a total of Rs 695.85 crore in India alone and a whopping Rs 829 crore worldwide. With this, the film even dethroned Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ as the highest-grossing Bollywood film.

“Stree 2” is still available in theaters. Shot under the banner of Maddock Films, the film stars an ensemble cast of Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. It also features cameos by Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan and Tamannaah Bhatia.

The film’s plot follows the events of its predecessor, showing the city of Chanderi terrorized by a new creature called Sarkata. Vicky and his friends will reunite to fend off the mysterious figure with the help of Stree and Bhediya.
