Season 9 of Below Deck Med has come to an end, but the cast gave fans one more treat before leaving the show.

The finale ended with the wedding of Captain Sandy Yawn and his wife Leah Shafer, during which we saw several familiar faces from the world of Below Deck.

Throughout the week, the show’s cast members took to social media to recap the season and share behind-the-scenes moments.

Chief Stew Aesha Scott was one of the first to share a carousel of photos that highlighted the fun side of filmmaking rather than the drama.

“AND JUST LIKE THAT!!!! Season 9 comes to an end tonight!!! Whether you liked it or hated it, I just want to sincerely and sincerely THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to watch it. The tremendous amount of hard work, lack of sleep and endless hours put into creating this show from both the cast and production are worth it when we know people are unwinding from a busy day and relaxing in one of our episodes,” the part read her signature.

Deckhand Gael Cameron also shared several photos from the season on Instagram featuring all of the cast members.

“What a ride that was. A season of laughter and tears, but a lot of fun at the same time!! I am beyond grateful for this experience, as well as my crew and all the amazing people behind the scenes who made it all happen. We send our love to everyone who was involved and to everyone who showed their support for us and the program,” Gael said.

Nathan Gallager took to Instagram to describe his feelings about Below Deck Med Season 9. It was a good season for Nathan, who gained a best friend in Joe Bradley and a girlfriend in Gael.

As previously reported by Monsters and Critics, Gael and Nathan informed viewers about their turbulent relationship after the finale. Nathan mainly showed photos of the crew and was used his signature expressing thanks and gratitude.

Joe Bradley has shared numerous videos and photos on Instagram, showing off everything from filming the season, to the crew’s nights out, to filming the Season 9 After Show.

“I would just like to say that this experience has been very unique and fantastic to say the least, there are a few stupid decisions here and there, but get up and learn from them! I’ve made such amazing friends and met some truly wonderful people both in front of and behind the camera,” Joe wrote in his caption.

Carrie O’Neill did not appear on the show for the entire season. Still, she took time to reflect on her short experience. Stew shared several photos, calling the filming time “a crazy fucking time.”

That’s the end of Below Deck Med season 9, but the good news is that season 5 is here. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season will be available before we know it.
