Harris trolls Trump with airplane banner during Alabama-Georgia football game

Harris’ campaign plans to troll Donald Trump on Saturday while he attends the highly anticipated college football game between Georgia and Alabama.

The campaign announced it plans to send a plane carrying a banner reading “Say it to my face” during the game – a reference to Trump’s refusal to debate his Democratic rival for a second time.

Harris challenged the former president in a second fight on October 23, hosted by CNN. Trump declined, even though he had previously said he was ready to debate “anytime, anywhere.”

In addition to the plane scheduled to fly over Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a television commercial will air nationwide during tonight’s game. Harris’ campaign says the ads are intended to remind participants, including Trump, of the former president’s “Punting on Second Debate.”

Trump is reportedly under increasing pressure to commit to a second debate, with many GOP voters and some of his closest allies believing he should face Harris again. During their clash, Trump was visibly upset and spread unsubstantiated claims about Haitian immigrants.

“Donald Trump left the stage during the first debate angry and shaken when he failed to provide any coherent vision for where he wanted to take this country, so now he’s trying to pick himself up and go home,” said Michael Tyler’s Harris-Walz communications director .

“No matter where Trump looks tonight – whether it’s in the sky or at the TV in his luxury box – he won’t be able to escape the truth: Trump is running away from a second debate with Vice President Harris because he doesn’t want to. they saw how weak and unpopular he and his Project 2025 program were.

“But winners don’t shy away from a challenge. Under the bright lights of the debate stage, voters deserve to see the choice they will face at the ballot box between moving forward with Vice President Harris or backing down with Donald Trump.

“Vice President Harris will be in Atlanta on October 23, ready to make her case to the American people – Donald Trump must step up and do the same.”

Trump was invited to the game, touted as one of the most important college matchups of the season, by Alabama businessman Ric Mayers. According to Mayers, he told AL.com that the former president requested a meal of two McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish sandwiches with cheese, a Domino’s pizza, stadium hot dogs and a Diet Coke.

On Saturday, Trump held a rally in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, during which he told crowds that Harris was “mentally retarded.” “Only a mentally disabled person could allow something like this to happen to our country,” he said.
