Rebel Wilson married her fiancée Ramona Agruma in a romantic ceremony in Sardinia.

The 44-year-old comedian said yes. According to People, Ramona, 40, got married on Saturday on a large Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea.

A source previously told DailyMail.com that the couple planned to tie the knot in a “super romantic” and intimate ceremony surrounded by their loved ones.

It was the perfect, dreamy place for the couple to exchange vows, especially while vacationing in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, just days after making their 2022 romance official on Instagram.

According to reports, the Pitch Perfect actress and her partner were supposed to get married on the beach in 2025, but Rebel decided to postpone the date.

The couple first met in 2021 and announced their engagement in February 2023. They also have a daughter, Royce Lillian, who will turn two in November.

Earlier this week, DailyMail.com exclusively shared the news of their wedding, revealing that the couple was “excited” to tie the knot.

“Rebel is really excited to be marrying the love of her life, she’s absolutely thrilled,” a source said ahead of the big day.

“It will be stunning and extremely romantic. She is madly in love and can’t wait to get married.

“Rebel doesn’t want to wait any longer. She is happy to get married this month because she is very much in love with Ramona and wants to get married,” the source added.

“It will be a small ceremony with close friends and family, but very elegant at the same time,” the insider added.

Previously speaking about her wedding plans, Rebel said she wanted to marry Ramona in a romantic beach ceremony in 2025.

– It will probably be next year. I feel like it’s going to be a beach wedding, but I just don’t know what beach,” she said during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning in May.

Rebel came out as queer in June 2022, and at the same time, she debuted her relationship with Ramona in a sweet post, sharing their cozy selfie and some kind words.

“I thought I was looking for a Disney prince… but maybe what I really needed was a Disney princess all this time,” she said in an Instagram post at the time.

Just a few days later, Rebel shared a photo of her and Ramona smiling and holding hands while vacationing together in Sardinia.

The couple, who first met in 2021, welcomed their daughter Royce Lillian in November 2022 via surrogate.

“I am extremely proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born last week via surrogate,” Rebel confirmed on Instagram at the time.

Rebel and Ramona then announced their engagement in February 2023, and the actress popped the question in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland in California.

She shared photos of Ramona flashing her diamond ring after Rebel popped the big question, and the happy couple packed on the PDA with a sweet kiss.

Shortly after their engagement, Rebel opened up about how happy she was to start a family with Ramona, and detailed her fertility issues.

“I’ve had to overcome a lot of things in my life, but of course the end of the story is very happy because I’m engaged,” she said.

“I have fertility problems due to a condition called PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and finally my story is that I have a beautiful baby girl who just melts my heart! She just started talking and says “I love you”…

“I went through five rounds of IVF to get her and it was worth every moment of the emotional rollercoaster, and anyone who deals with fertility issues knows what I’m talking about.”

During a March interview with People, Rebel talked about her experiences with motherhood and revealed her daughter’s first and “favorite” word.

“It’s shocking to me how much she melts my heart,” the star told the outlet. And when he says, “Mom?” Lately, it’s her new favorite word.

And that was her first word in life. It just melts you and you go, “Oh.” I thought I would be a strict parent, but apparently it’s the other way around.

Rebel also shared how her surrogate became pregnant with the “last viable embryo” and called her daughter a “miracle.”

“He opens his eyes and looks at us. We are a family now,” the actress continued, referring to Agruma, and later added: “I am a mom. It’s a damn miracle.

Rebel began opening up about her dating history before she met Ramona in her memoir Rebel Rising, which was released earlier this year.

She described herself as a “late bloomer in love” and shared how she was “shy” about dating, before challenging herself to date 50 men to gain more confidence.

“I fell in love late, so I was very, very shy about dating. So in 2019, when I was really single, I realized that I needed to go on more dates,” she shared in the message.

“I did my own little experiment where I dated about 50 men – not at the same time – but anyone who asked me out, I had to say yes. Dating has become more and more comfortable for me. I actually lost my virginity late compared to many people – at the age of 35.

She also revealed that she didn’t lose her virginity until she was 35, and said she wanted to share the details so that other young people know that “not everyone has to lose their virginity as a teenager.”

She said: “People can wait until they are ready, or wait until they are a little more mature…

I think this could be positive news. Of course, you don’t have to wait until you’re in your 30s like I did, but you shouldn’t feel pressured as a young person.”

She then added that she believed that if she had been born 20 years later, she would have felt more open to exploring her sexuality at a younger age.

“It’s absolutely amazing. If I had been born 20 years later, I probably would have explored my sexuality more deeply. I just knew I was attracted to men and it was a normal thing,” the senior actress honestly shared.

“And so, when I probably started opening up more after my father died and realized, oh, even though I saw marriage as something terrible and a waste of time, I started opening up to it.

“It was only many years later that I met women and had feelings for women, and I think it was just a sign of the way society was.”
