He happened to be the official photographer of the event and what started as a simple conversation turned into a perfect fairy tale. How we met

The day I met Lucas still lingers in my mind because it set the stage for an unexpected but beautiful journey. I attended a wedding with some friends and Lucas was the photographer for the event. He approached me and we struck up a casual conversation. He had an easy smile and an infectious enthusiasm for his work. Before the evening was over, we exchanged contacts on Instagram, making friends on social media. Months passed and our separate lives continued. It wasn’t until December 2023 that our paths crossed again in a way neither of us expected.

One evening, while scrolling through Instagram, I came across a post from Lucas. He shared his frustrations with the challenges of “conversation stages” in dating. Intrigued and feeling a little cheeky, I replied, “It’s because you were talking to people you don’t like on stages.” His answer came quickly and took me completely by surprise. “The person I am interested in is not interested in me, like you,” he wrote. His honesty was disarming and made me stop. I didn’t realize he had feelings for me. I was traveling at the time, and although we couldn’t meet in person, we spent that month talking, sharing stories, sharing dreams, and building a bond that was both natural and surprising.

When I finally returned home, we were both eagerly awaiting our first meeting. We went on several dates, each one more wonderful than the last. There was a crossover night coming up so I invited Lucas and that’s when he asked me to be his girlfriend. His question was sincere, and my answer came easily – a resounding “yes.” Looking back now, it’s incredible how a chance meeting at a wedding and a simple exchange on Instagram led to something so profound. Lucas and I often look back on that evening, grateful for the twists of fate that brought us together. Our story is a testament to the unexpected ways love can find you, even in the most ordinary of moments. As for the rest, well, the rest is history.
