Hyderabad: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced that the state government is formulating a policy to streamline the revenue system.

On Sunday, he met Tahsildars of 33 districts at the NALSAR Law University, Shamirpet, during which he stressed on the need to improve the functioning of the revenue mechanism, provide relief to the poor and protect government property and land.

He instructed officials to take stringent measures to prevent encroachment on government land and to formulate an action plan in this regard.
