Queen Camilla will be portrayed as Prince Harry’s ‘wicked stepmother’ in controversial new Channel 4 documentary

Channel 4 is reportedly set to air a documentary about Queen Camilla that puts the royal family in a negative light.

According to “The Sun”, the film will be titled Camilla: “Wicked” Harry’s stepmother? – will portray the 77-year-old as the “wicked mother” of 40-year-old Prince Harry.

Moreover, according to the website, she will claim that Camilla not only spent about thirty years building a positive image, but also that the late Queen Elizabeth II never wanted her to sit on the throne.

According to anonymous sources, the broadcast of the documentary was delayed after King Charles revealed his cancer diagnosis.

Sources say that due to his illness, there were fears that the document against Camilla could trigger a backlash.

According to reports, a Channel 4 documentary portraying Queen Camilla (pictured left) as the “evil stepmother” of Prince Harry (pictured right) will be broadcast within weeks (both photos taken at Buckingham Palace in June 2012).

It’s now set to air “within a few weeks.”

According to one source: “It’s a largely pro-Harry and anti-Camilla document.

“It portrays him and Meghan as victims of family incivility.”

They added that Channel 4 is aware that the documentary will “make serious waves” and that many people, particularly in Buckingham Palace, “will not like it”.

Reports suggest that documentary producers have approached the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for help.

MailOnline has contacted the couple’s representatives for comment.

A Channel 4 spokesman told MailOnline the documentary “will explore Camilla’s biography and background as she is now Queen.”

They added: “This has not been scheduled yet.”

The documentary follows Prince Harry Spare’s memoir, in which he claims he and his brother, Prince William, begged their father not to marry Camilla, adding that he wondered if she would become his “evil stepmother.”

In January 2023, in an interview with Anderson Cooper to promote the book, Prince Harry described Camilla as “dangerous” and a “villain.”

He said: “She was a villain, she was the third person in a marriage, she had to rehabilitate her image.

“This made her dangerous because of the contacts she had made in the British press. Both sides showed an open willingness to exchange information, and a family built on hierarchy, and with it on the path to becoming queen consort, was the reason why people or bodies were left in the streets.

However, hours later, Prince Harry said on Good Morning America that he did not see Queen Camilla as an “evil stepmother”.

Prince Harry took aim at his father’s wife Camilla in a television interview promoting his memoir Spare on CBS’s “60 Minutes in the US” in January 2023.

In his third television interview, he said: “You know, I feel very sorry for her as she is the third person in my parents’ marriage. She had a reputation or image to rehabilitate.

“No matter what conversations took place, what deals or deals were made at the very beginning, she was told that it was for the best.”

When asked about his relationship with Camilla, Harry replied: “We haven’t talked for a long time. I love every member of my family, despite our differences, so when I see them, we are completely happy together.

She is my stepmother. I don’t think she’s a bad stepmother. I see a person who married into this institution and, for her own good, did everything in her power to improve her reputation and image.”

MailOnline has contacted Buckingham Palace for comment on the upcoming documentary.
