In surprise The Good Witch fans didn’t expect Catherine Bell has exciting news to share!

The hit Hallmark series aired on the network for seven seasons, and Catherine last saw Cassie Nightingale in 2021. While he’s not necessarily reprising his magical role, he’s teaming up with his former co-star James Denton for a continuation Christmas on Cherry Lanea holiday movie they worked on together in 2023. According to Television expertthe film will be titled Merry Christmas from Cherry Lane and the premiere on the newly created streaming service Hallmark+ will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2024. Moreover, Catherine has already published the first teaser of the film with a photo of her with James on the set.

Seeing Catherine’s unexpected message, The Good Witch fans couldn’t help but scream with excitement about it all.

“I love them both . I’m excited to watch this movie!” one person wrote. “I’m so excited to see you and James together again!” declared another. “Awesome – can’t wait ,” another follower added.

For those curious what Merry Christmas from Cherry Lane is about, Diversity dropped the official synopsis from Hallmark. According to the website, the film will be about three families who gather at different times to celebrate the holidays. Moreover, people can see how families cope with various difficult scenarios, which will hopefully bring them closer together during one of the most festive times of the year.

And if you think Catherine and James are the only Hallmark stars in this movie, think again. Benjamin Ayres AND Julia Gonzalo are also part of the cast, playing a couple whose family story takes place in the 1960s. (For the record, Catherine and James’ chronology for their characters, Nelson and Regina, begins in 1998).
