Sabrina Carpenter brags about impeaching Mayor Adams

Pop star Sabrina Carpenter bragged on stage that she had impeached Mayor Eric Adams after one of her racy music videos was linked to the chorus of scandals swirling around Hizzoner.

The 25-year-old joked about her apparent ties to the federal corruption investigation currently swirling around the mayor midway through her Big Apple concert at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night, footage on social media shows.

“Shit, what now? Should we talk about how I impeached the mayor?” Carpenter joked to cheering fans as she took a break between songs.

The little artist addressed the controversy just days after Adams pleaded guilty on Friday to conspiracy, wire fraud and bribery charges in Manhattan federal court.

Carpenter’s name made headlines earlier this month when it was revealed that federal investigators were separately investigating one of the mayor’s friends – a Brooklyn priest who sparked an unholy uproar after allowing a sultry pop star to film in his church her music video for “Feather” last year.

The feds issued a subpoena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Williamsburg, seeking information about any connections between one of its lead pastors, Monsignor Jamie Gigantiello, and Hizzoner’s former chief of staff, Frank Carone.

Gigantiello was demoted last year when it was revealed that he had consented to being shot for a raunchy Carpenter music video in which she writhed in a little black dress on the altar of a 160-year-old Catholic church next to a coffin with the words “RIP, bitch.”

Asked at the time to comment on the federal investigation, Brooklyn Diocese officials responded with a statement linking it to an internal church investigation into the Carpenter music video.

“It would be inappropriate to comment further on this review, which is still ongoing,” diocesan officials said in a statement.

“The diocese is fully committed to cooperating with law enforcement in all investigations, including those involving individual parishes or those involving any priest.”
