Coldplay and Abramorama at cinema performances promoting the band’s new album “Moon Music”

Veteran rockers Coldplay have teamed up with Abramorama to host what they described as a “world cinematic premiere” of their upcoming album Moon music.

The team will start on October 2 Moon music through a series of “shared listening experience” events held in selected cinemas around the world. The event will be distributed via Abramorama. The Moon music the cinematic experience will play in over 700 locations in over 40 countries around the world ahead of the album’s October 4 release on Atlantic Records.

“We love that fans have the chance to hear Moon Music in theaters around the world ahead of its release – all in glorious Dolby surround sound,” Coldplay said of the event in a statement.

In organizing events, Abramorama started cooperation with the Dutch company Piece of Magic. Abramorama is an experienced documentary film distributor, responsible for films such as Paul Dugdale Raye: My 21ststreet Century Symphony live at the Royal Albert Hall and John McDermott Electric Lady Studios: Jimmy Hendrix’s vision and the recently announced rock documentary Placebo: it’s a search for meaning directed by BAFTA winner Oliver Samson.
