Three arrested after bloody brawl between Cardinals fans

Three men have been arrested for misdemeanor involvement in a fight at State Farm Stadium during Sunday’s game between the Cardinals and Commanders that left one man covered in blood.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety told TMZ that in another ugly incident involving fans in the stands, a fight broke out after two women pushed each other.

Footage of the fight, which turned into a three-on-one attack between four men, circulated on social media and once again highlighted the bad behavior in the stands that has been a feature of NFL facilities across the league over the past few years.

“One woman fell,” an Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman told the agency. “The friend ran after the suspect… brushing against other men before a fight broke out.”

The video appeared to pick up pace in the middle of the melee as a man wearing a backwards hat and a Pat Tillman Cardinals T-shirt punched a man in a red T-shirt.

Then a second fan wearing David Johnson’s No. 31 jersey began throwing haymakers while both men began fighting with a man wearing a Tillman jersey while a third player wearing a black shirt entered the fray.

Other fans eventually rush into frame to try and interrupt the fight to calm things down.

The second video showed authorities and security at the scene as two officers detained one of the people.

The man who took the brunt of the blows could also be seen walking down the stairs and past officers as he exited the section.

A third officer was also seen escorting another combatant from the section.

Authorities told TMZ that three men were arrested for misdemeanor assault.

This is the second heated brawl to break out during the weekend’s NFL playoffs after a video surfaced online showing a brawl during a Falcons game against the Chiefs in which a fan was allowed to stomp on the head of another fan during a fight in the 300th Anniversary section.
