The long-awaited “DJU game” will probably not go according to script.

Florida State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei Multiple reports indicate he will miss the Clemson game with a broken finger on his throwing hand.

Swinney was asked about the possibility of DJU not playing against the Tigers.

“It’s not Clemson vs. DJ. We’re playing Florida State,” Swinney said during Tuesday’s news conference. “I don’t get caught up in all these narratives and stuff like that. I’m trying to get the team ready to play whoever they play.”

Uiagalelei threw for 223 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions, including a pick-six in a loss to SMU.

On the season, Uiagalelei threw only four touchdown passes and six interceptions.

“I really hate that he might have broken his finger or whatever they said,” Clemson veteran safety RJ Mickens said Tuesday. “So I am definitely praying for him and hoping for a speedy recovery.”

According to ESPN, Florida State backup quarterback Brock Glenn will start the game against Clemson. He was listed as “OR” on the latest depth chart with DJU at the quarterback position.

Clemson is currently a two-touchdown favorite against the Seminoles.
