Sports Bra announces streaming service deal with football club

The Sports Bra, a women’s sports bar, announced Tuesday a partnership with Los Angeles lower league women’s soccer club United City FC Women to create a streaming channel.

The Roku app, which will stream live games, will be tested at Sports Bra locations in spring 2025 and is designed to maximize the sports bar viewing experience.

“The current movement around women’s sports is just gaining momentum and is gaining momentum every day,” Jenny Nguyen, founder and CEO of The Sports Bra, said in a press release.

The club announced plans for the team to go on an international tour, but did not specify who they would play with.

No locations have been announced beyond the original in Portland, and a website was launched in September to apply for a franchise.
