Love Is Blind’s Hannah Reveals How She Really Felt About Leo Flaunting His Work as an Art Dealer – and Their Big Fight (Exclusive)

Love is blindHannah Jiles from “Hannah Jiles” describes her time dating Leo Braudy simply.

In the first set of episodes of Season 7, Hannah and Leo formed an intra-pod connection and seemed torn between themselves and their other connections – Hannah with Nick Dorka and Leo with Brittany Wisniewski.

Ultimately, 27-year-old Hannah ended her relationship with Leo, opting to get engaged to Nick D., while Leo decided Brittany would be a better match for him and later proposed to the beautician.

But before all this happened, Leo, 30, was trying to impress Hannah – apparently emphasizing – and sometimes showing off – his job as an art dealer and his financial status. While fans may have considered his comments to be continuous, Hannah clarifies that this was not the case at all.

“Maybe I was wearing rose-colored glasses or something, but I knew money was important, but I didn’t think it was that big of a deal (something like that),” she explains. “And again, you have to remember that I won’t see him in his Rolex or his suit or the way he carries himself.”

“So yes, he talked about it. But I think in my case I never thought: ‘Oh my God, this guy won’t keep silent about how rich he is,’ she adds. “I just knew that’s what Jennifer Lawrence’s (Cooke Maroney) husband does… And I said, ‘I think that means money.’ I don’t know. I was confused. The more he talked and so on, I understood, but maybe it wasn’t until later that I realized it.

Hannah also says she was surprised by Leo’s reaction when she ended up with him. (The art dealer was a little devastated and insisted that Hannah made a bad decision by destroying the capsules.)

“Honestly, I just didn’t know. It was a very confusing situation because I knew he was dating Brittany and I decided to choose Nick. So I went there and I was like, “Okay, I’ll break it off.” If you say you have a great relationship with Brittany, it shouldn’t be a problem,” he recalled. “So I think I was shocked. I just thought, oh. I just didn’t expect it.”

“I don’t know exactly if it was a change or not, but I just didn’t expect the conversation we had,” she continues. “I think how someone deals with difficult rejection really says a lot about them. So maybe he just didn’t deal with rejection very well.”

When asked if her perspective on Leo would change if he reacted differently, Hannah replies: “I think if he did better, yes, maybe in the future, everything would be fine. But Nick was who I wanted him to be, and whether he was aggressive or affectionate, it would still be Nick.”

After the two went their separate ways in their pods, Nick and Hannah got engaged and flew to Mexico for a couples getaway. Leo and Brittany also got involved in the pods, but after an “awkward” reveal, it was confirmed that they both later called things off.

In an on-screen message during Episode 5, it was revealed that Leo and Brittany “were not one of the six couples chosen by producers to continue their journey through Mexico.” They went to Miami on their own and broke off their engagement a few weeks later. “

As of episode 6, Hannah and Nick remain together, but both agreed that they have some “concerns” that they want to “resolve” before they head down the aisle, including Nick’s duck incident and Hannah’s bullet list.
