ANSA: During the investigation, a connection was discovered between the head of the ultras from Milan and the Napoli clan

The report shows that more and more information is coming to light about the alleged relationship between the AC Milan and Inter ultras.

Yesterday it was announced that the prosecutor’s office in Milan arrested several key figures with Inter’s Curva Nord and Milan’s Curva Sud on Monday morning on suspicion of criminal association, with new information constantly emerging.

According to ANSA (via Calciomercato.com), it appears that Inter was aware of the ongoing investigation, as were the leaders of Curva Nord, who maintained a constant dialogue with their counterparts in Curva Sud.

From the wiretapping between Marco Ferdico, the leader of Inter ultras who is currently in prison, and Massimiliano Silva, the manager responsible for fan relations, it is clear that there was fear if the first judicial investigations were to begin at all.

The topic of discussion was the collection of season tickets for their Secondo Anello Verde section, which had been surrendered by Irriducibili, a group forced out by intimidation. The goal was to earn as much as possible from season tickets at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

Ferdico, faced with the possibility that Giuseppe Marotta and Gianluca Cameruccio would refuse to accept their tickets, warned Silva that “in such a case he will demand a justification”. Ferdico continued to insist that the club’s 1,500 tickets for the 2023 Champions League final in Istanbul, ordered and obtained, be resold at increased prices.

The prosecutor’s office adds that in a conversation conducted on May 26, 2023, with former Nerazzurri icon Marco Materazzi, Ferdico says that he “met with Calhanoglu and Barella to talk about key issues that arose in connection with the ticket case” and “even learned about the death of a Turkish footballer, complaints about the club’s behavior.

Moreover, the investigation revealed “significant” links between Luca Lucci, head of Milan’s Curva, and the Napoli ultras. In particular, with one of the “leaders of the ultras from the Sanità district”, for whom he allegedly obtained “hundreds of tickets” for the quarter-final match of the Champions League, intended “at least partly for members of the city’s mafia clans”.

All the various circumstances that can be read from the Prosecutor’s Office documents and provided by ANSA will certainly be investigated.
