Eminem announces Hailie Jade’s pregnancy with emotional music video

Eminem he’s going to be a grandfather! The rapper announced this on October 3 Hailie Jadewhom he welcomed with his ex-wife Kim Scott, she is pregnant. This was revealed in the emotional music video for “Temporary” (featuring Skylar Gray), a song dedicated to her after his death. The music video is a compilation of photos, family videos and never-before-seen footage from her wedding.

His 28-year-old daughter surprised him by giving him a T-shirt with the word “GRANDPA” on the back.

It was an emotional moment for “rapper Slim Shady,” whose mouth dropped when he realized what he had said and saw the ultrasound.

Jade also confirmed the news on her Instagram, posing with her husband Evan McClintock and their ultrasound. “Mom and dad – 2025,” she captioned the photo.

The “Just a Little Shady” podcast host married her husband in May. According to the LA Times, McClintock is a principal at Scout, a Michigan-based investigations and management firm that helps companies protect against brand erosion. The couple met at Michigan State University in 2016, and Eminem walked them down the aisle.

Eminem’s three children

Eminem, born Marshall Mathers III, raised three children, with Hailie being his only biological parent. He adopted his eldest daughter, Alain whose biological mother was Kim’s sister, Scott’s Dawnwho struggled with drugs and died in 2016. Alaina married her long-time boyfriend, Matt Moeller, in June 2023 and walked her down the aisle.

In 2010, Eminem mentioned his three children in his song “Going Through Changes”. “Hailie, this is for you, Whitney and Alaina too/I still love your mother and that will never change,” she sings in the song.

Whitney is non-binary and has since changed her name to Stevie. Stevie was born to Kim and their then-boyfriend Eric Hartter. Eminem adopted them in 2005.
