Mail voting begins in Connecticut | Fox News

Connecticut’s seven Electoral College votes are up for grabs as voters make their choices in national, state and local races.

Top Down Races in States Voting Early Today

There is one competitive district in Connecticut:

  • Connecticut’s 5th District: Rep. Jahana Hayes has represented this district long held by Democrats since 2019, but it includes some of the reddest parts of the state, including Wolcott, Thomaston and Watertown counties. Hayes faces former Connecticut state senator George Logan, who ran unsuccessfully in the same district in the midterms. It’s Lean D in Fox News’ Power Rankings.

Voting by mail

Connecticut began voting by mail on Friday. Candidates will need to provide an excuse to receive a ballot. The resident must receive a ballot request by November 4 and that ballot must be delivered to county officials by November 5.

In-person early voting

Connecticut will begin in-person early voting on October 21 and continue through November 3.

Voter registration

Connecticut residents can register to vote online or by mail until October 18. They can register in person at any time during early voting as well as on Election Day.
