Devara – Part 1 premiered in theaters on September 27.

Devara – part 1, starring Jr. NTR, took the box office by storm. Directed by Koratala Siva, the action-packed drama has already hit the Rs 200 crore club in just six days of its release. It gained wide recognition in all five languages ​​including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

After performing well in the first seven days, on day eight, Devara – Part 1 grossed around Rs 6.25 crore across all languages ​​in the domestic market. According to a Sacnilk report, the first week ticket sales in the country were around Rs 215.60 crore. This currently stands at Rs. 221.85 crore after combining with the estimated collection on the eighth day. On Friday, October 4, Telugu film had a total attendance of 20.44% and other languages ​​had a significant share of viewership.

Funded by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, alongside Jr. NTR Devara – Part 1 stars Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. After racking up a significant amount of sales on the seventh day, the makers of the film released a surprise poster of Jr. on Twitter. NTR, showing a massive worldwide ticket tally of around Rs 405 crore. In the caption they wrote: “This is a dark cloud of FEAR hanging over all competitors. See this. Feel it. Fear in cinemas now. #Devara #DevaraBlockbuster.”

Devara – Part 1 was reportedly produced on a budget of Rs 300 crore. It has surpassed many blockbusters of the past including Pushpa: The Rise, Adipurush and others. Pushpa: The Rise reportedly grossed Rs 350.1 crore worldwide and won two national awards for Best Actor and Best Music Direction. Following this, films like Adipurush, which grossed Rs 393 crore worldwide despite a production budget of Rs 450 crore, also outperformed ‘Adipurush’. Now, Devara is targeting the collection of Saaho, Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali 2, RRR, Kalki 2898 AD and Salaar to be among the top five highest-grossing Telugu films.

Jr. Fans NTRs have been constantly showing their excitement and support for Devara – Part 1. Earlier, we came across a viral video of a fan who traveled from Japan to Los Angeles to attend the film’s premiere. Before the film’s world premiere, its premiere took place at the Beyond Fest festival in Los Angeles.

In a viral video posted by the Devara: Part 1 team on their X, a heartbreaking conversation between Jr. NTR and his fans who were eager to catch a glimpse of the actor took the internet by storm. The fan was on the other side of security while the two interacted from a fenced gate. The woman was full of emotions throughout the conversation with the actor. Sharing the video, the filmmakers wrote, “How far will you go to find your favorite…? @KO19830520 traveled all the way from Tokyo to Los Angeles to watch #Devara with @tarak9999 at @BeyondFest. And when she met her, her reaction was priceless! What a moment to witness!”

Devara Part 1 will apparently outperform many other blockbusters in the coming days.
